Dr. Jon Edward Harrison, 89, went to be with the Lord on April 7, 2026, in Round Rock, TX.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Crestview Baptist Church, 2300 Williams Drive., Georgetown, TX. Don Cramer Officiating.
Jon was born in Oswego, KS to Robert and Winnifred Harrison on November 13, 1936. He attended school in Oswego. He graduated from the University of Kansas and UMKC School of Dentistry. He practiced Dentistry in Wichita, KS for 35 years. He married Kathryn (Haynes) in Wichita on August 4, 1973. He was involved with Dental Society, YMCA Men’s Club, and was an Elder at Central Christian Church in Wichita for several years. He loved traveling, hunting pheasant, golfing, playing cards and especially being with family and friends. He cherished the special relationships that were built through his Bible Study groups and Crestview Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by Robert and Winnifred Harrison. Jon is survived by wife, Kathryn, son, Hayden Harrison, daughter, Heather Harrison (Holly Harper), sister, Judy Wilson, grandchildren, Logan Harrison (Katie Mobley), and Elena Harrison, nephew, Steve (Brenda) Jackson, nieces, Stephanie (Walter Powell), Jacquie Atkins, Lizzi (Jack) Gualtieri, Jeni Weinberg, Kristen (Allen) Martin, sisters-in-law, Mary (Jeff) Weinberg, Pat Haynes.
