RICHMOND, IN– Alice VanWinkle Harding, age 77, of Richmond, Indiana, died Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at Brickyard Golden Rule.
Born September 1, 1948, in Taylor, Texas, to Robert and Helen Jarosek VanWinkle, Alice lived in this community for 40 years. She collected purses and when asked, she always had a color of the day. Alice enjoyed gardening, reading, and cats. She was nicknamed the cat lady.
Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Patrick Harding; and cousins, Roger, Frank, John, Janice, Jamie, Jonie, Jeanie, and Joe.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation for Alice will be held on Monday, April 6, 2026 from 12:00pm -1:00pm at Lakes Funeral Home, 203 North Dogwood Drive, Berea, KY 40403, with a graveside service at 1:00pm at Cox Cemetery in Morrill, Kentucky.
