Mrs. Ima Jean Fleming Foster, 74, of Austin, Texas, passed away on March 1, 2026. She was born on August 3, 1951, in Forrest City, Arkansas, to the late Alexander Fleming and Jessie Mae Johnson Fleming.
Ima was a woman of many gifts and passions. She was known as a loving mother, grandmother, and a friend to all who loved her. She was also a devoted wife, dedicated educator, and an inspiring track and field and cross country coach. She was a talented cook and skilled craftsman who cherished her family deeply. Her warmth, wisdom, and strength left a lasting impact on everyone who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings, and her beloved husband, Thomas Foster.
Mrs. Fleming Foster’s legacy of love, faith, and dedication to family and community will forever be remembered by those whose lives she touched.
