Robert (“Bob”) T. Mark, Sr., of Wimberley, Texas, passed away on March 28, 2026, at the age of 90. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to Margaret (Whalen) Mark and Vernon T. Mark, he spent his early years in Philadelphia and Springfield, PA. He honorably served his country in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of the Korean War.
Bob was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Mary; his children, Robert T. Mark, Jr. (Mary), and Susan Mark; his grandchildren, Jessica, Kyle, and Jennifer; and his siblings, Joseph Mark and Anna Thompson.
A visitation will be held at Olinger-Saenz Mortuary Services in San Antonio on April 5, 2026, from 5 PM to 7 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Church on April 6, 2026, at 10 AM, with interment to follow at the Texas State Cemetery in Austin.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or the American Cancer Society in Robert’s name.
The family would like to thank everyone for their love and support during this difficult time. Robert was a true inspiration to many and he will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
